POLICE arrested a man last night when he made threats to his own life while brandishing a knife.Officers were called to an area of Lowestoft beach after the 47-year-old rang a relative claiming he was suicidal.
POLICE arrested a man last night when he made threats to his own life while brandishing a knife.
Officers were called to an area of Lowestoft beach after the 47-year-old rang a relative claiming he was suicidal.
Police began a search for the man on foot at around 10.15pm before the police helicopter was called to the scene.
The man was located at 2.15am this morning in Summerfield Gardens.

He was subsequently arrested for being in possession of a knife in a public place. He was cautioned, but later released.
