A 31-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of harassment after what police have described as "several accosting-type incidents" in Lowestoft.

Among these were incidents in Normanston Drive and Crown Street West on Friday, March 18.

In the first, the driver of a small red car offered a 15-year-old girl a lift, which was ignored, and in the second a 19-year-old woman and her young son were approached in the play area at Crown Street West.

The man has been bailed until April 18, pending further inquiries.
