A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of importation of a controlled drug, possession of a Class A drug and possession of cannabis with intent to supply after police swooped on an address at Southwold.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of importation of a controlled drug, possession of a Class A drug and possession of cannabis with intent to supply after police swooped on an address at Southwold.
Acting on information received from UK Border Agency officers based at a postal hub in Coventry, officers from Waveney CID and the Territorial Support Team executed a warrant on Wednesday, 16 June.
The 55-year-old man was arrested and, on searching the property, police found around a dozen cannabis plants and associated growing equipment, cannabis resin and a quantity of heroin.
The man was interviewed at Lowestoft Police Station and has now been bailed to return to police on July 28.
