Man charged after woman injured in Lowestoft

A 23-year-old man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning ABH, criminal damage and making threats to kill after a 30-year-old woman suffered a cut and bite wounds to her face and bruising in two incidents over the weekend.

“Daniel Smith, of Yarmouth Road, is charged with assaulting the woman on Friday and Saturday, January 28/29 and is due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning, Monday January 31,” a police spokesman said.
