A 21-YEAR-OLD Lowestoft man has been charged with attempted burglary following an incident at a home in the town.

James Chitty, of Normanston Drive, was arrested yesterday (Thursday, February 9), in connection with an attempted break-in at a home in Monckton Avenue in Lowestoft on Tuesday, January 10.

“He was interviewed by officers, charged and held in custody overnight pending an appearance at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court this morning, Friday, February 10,” a police spokesman said.
