A 29-year-old Lowestoft man is due to appear at court this morning (Friday, July 5), charged with the theft of a bicycle following an incident in Oulton Broad in the early hours of yesterday (Thursday).
John Fisher, of Southfield Gardens, was arrested in Victoria Road a short time after the bike was stolen from outside a home in Bridge Road and was taken into custody where he was interviewed by officers before being charged with the theft. The stolen bicycle was recovered.
He is now due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court from 9.30am this morning.
