A 39-year-old man is due to appear at Lowestoft magistrates court this morning (Wednesday), charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply and possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply after he was stopped by police in Station Square on Monday (June 10).
Officers from the Lowestoft based Territorial Support Team detained a man for a drugs search about 5.50pm and he was brought into the town’s police station. A number of items were recovered including three packages, mobiles phones, cash and digital scales. It’s estimated the three packages contain drugs with a potential street value of more than £3,000.
Matthew Cruxton, of Wash Lane in Kessingland, was arrested and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed by officers before being charged yesterday (Tuesday) with the two offences.
He was held in custody overnight, pending the appearance before Lowestoft Magistrates from 10am today.
