Man goes missing from Lowestoft home

POLICE are appealing for a 50-year-old man to get in touch after he was reported missing from his home in south Lowestoft.

Alan Bird was reported missing at the end of July and since then officers have made numerous enquiries to try and trace him.

POLICE are appealing for a 50-year-old man to get in touch after he was reported missing from his home in south Lowestoft.

Alan Bird was reported missing at the end of July and since then officers have made numerous enquiries to try and trace him.

Although it appears he took most of his personal belongings with him, police need to speak to him to ensure he is safe and well and are asking him, or anyone with information about where he is now, to contact them.

Mr Bird is described as white with receding greying hair.
