Man injured after assault in Lowestoft

AN 18-year-old man suffered injuries to his neck after he was assaulted in Lowestoft.

The teenager was grabbed and pulled to the ground by another man in Battery Green Road at around 11.

AN 18-year-old man suffered injuries to his neck after he was assaulted in Lowestoft.

The teenager was grabbed and pulled to the ground by another man in Battery Green Road at around 11.10pm on Saturday, August 2. He suffered red marks to his neck following the attack.

Police on patrol in the area were flagged down by the 18-year-old who said he had been walking along the road when the man, described as white with short dark hair and wearing a grey tracksuit, attacked him. The 18-year-old managed to get up and ran off down Grove Road.
