POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 44-year-old man was injured following an incident in London Road South, Lowestoft during the early hours of yesterday, Sunday, April 27.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 44-year-old man was injured following an incident in London Road South, Lowestoft during the early hours of yesterday, Sunday, April 27.
The victim was left with a swollen eye, bleeding nose and cut arm following the altercation which happened about 2.30am.
The 44-year-old man flagged down police officers on patrol in London Road South and reported that he had been hurt in an incident near Lolas Kitchen.
Paramedics attended and the man was taken to the James Paget Hospital for treatment. Police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to call PC 399 Burn at Lowestoft on 01986 835300.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident. He has been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on June 8.
