A 54-year-old man suffered two black eyes after he was assaulted as he walked along a pathway in Lowestoft.

The man was walking home along the pathway between Belvedere Road and the Asda car park at Horn Hill about 2am on Saturday (January 28) when he was assaulted by two men who punched him several times.

• Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area around this time or anyone with information about the attackers to call PC 1771 Hodds at Lowestoft on 101.
