Man rescued after sea drama at Lowestoft

A MAN in his 60s was dramatically rescued after hitting the rocks at Lowestoft's South Pier this morning (Tuesday).The emergency services were called to the pier following reports that a man had jumped into the sea near the rocks on Children's Corner at about 8.
A MAN in his 60s was dramatically rescued after hitting the rocks at Lowestoft's South Pier this morning (Tuesday).
The emergency services were called to the pier following reports that a man had jumped into the sea near the rocks on Children's Corner at about 8.45am this morning.
Lowestoft coastguards, the fire service, an ambulance crew and Lowestoft Lifeboat attended the scene and the man was stretchered into an ambulance suffering what was believed to be a broken leg.
