Man wounded in pub attack

A MAN was stabbed in the face at a Lowestoft pub in the early hours of this morning.

The 20-year-old suffered lacerations to the face in The Wheatsheaf, in High Street, at 12.

The 20-year-old suffered lacerations to the face in The Wheatsheaf, in High Street, at 12.45am.

Police believe the man may have been attacked with a glass.

The person responsible is yet to be identified and police have encouraged anyone who knows anything about the incident to come forward and call 01473 613 500.
