Memories of dad driving train

PUBLISHED: 11:35 05 June 2009 | UPDATED: 09:56 06 July 2010

I READ about the steam locomotive Oliver Cromwell at Lowestoft train station.

My late father, William “Billy” Stanfield was a driver on the footplate of the train and the only memory I have of dad driving this loco is as a 10-year-old at Dell Road Primary, standing at Oulton Broad South gates as dad came through on the footplate of 70013.

As an ex train driver myself I would love a couple of mementoes of Oliver Cromwell's arrival/departure Lowestoft/London on 16/5/2009. Any photos sent will be fully reimbursed P&P etc.
