FOXBOROUGH and Roman Hill Middle school's have established a partnership with a school in northern France, Le College Saint Robert, in Merville.

More than 30 pupils will be chosen to represent both schools and will spend five days in the area.

They will visit the school, interview their French friends and play handball with them, as well as learn to sail catamarans and kayaks at the nearby French sailing school.

They will also play boules, spend a day sightseeing in Paris and visit war sites and a theme park in Belgium.

A week later, the French pupils will be in Lowestoft and taking part in life at Foxborough and Roman Hill schools.

Many pupils already correspond with each other and new friendships have been forged between children on either side of the channel.
