THE funeral service took place at Christ Church, Lowestoft, on April 1, for Avril Pitchers, of Lowestoft, followed by interment in St Bartholomew's Churchyard, Corton. Avril died at the James Paget University Hospital on March 10, aged 49.
The Rev Matthew Payne officiated.
Immediate family mourners were: Roger, Anthea and Teel Pitchers, Malcolm, Eleanor, Gareth, Tristan, Kieran and Dianne Pitchers, Beverley, Adrian and Anna-Marie Humphreys and Aunt Myra Strachan.
Other family and friends were: Jenny Blowers, Maggie and Jeremy Caborn, Wendy and William Smith, Virginia and Keith Pitchers, Lily Pitchers, Norma Howard, Margaret, Geoff, Belinda and Robert Mason, Wendy and Alan Rodgers, other friends from Christ Church, Mencap and Harry Chamberlain Court.
Unable to attend with apologies were: Mervyn and Vera Goult and family, Selena, Jill Strachan, Dudley and Jill Pitchers and Thea Hall.
Will all please accept this as the only but most grateful acknowledgment.
Funeral arrangements were by Anglia Co-Operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft.
