THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on October 22 for Peggy Eileen Spelling of Lowestoft who died on September 28, aged 80.

The Rev Mark McCarey officiated.

Mourners were: David Spelling (brother), Sylvia Spelling (sister-in-law), Sharon and John Guymer (niece) with Hayley and Sarah, Neal Ayers (nephew) and Sue Saunders with Alex, Jamie and Scott, Sheila Bultitude (cousin), Susan and Paul Jay (goddaughter), Michael Ayers, Woody (Liz Baker) (also representing those in New Zealand and Australia), Enid and Gerald Kirby, Mr and Mrs Ebury, Tim Ebury, Betty Smith, Ethel Dalziel, Rita and Gordon Boggis, Ray and Dorothy Greenwood, Eileen and Peter Chenery, Cicely Lucas, Clive Marshall, Victor and Linda Kirk, Joan and Ted Holmes, Mr M Chester, Carol Aland (friends and colleagues from Rishton House), Geoff Young (the Yard Project), Barbara Banks.

Unavoidably absent were: Lillian Spelling and Mrs B Crane.

The family wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, the beautiful flower tributes and donations still being accepted for the British Heart Foundation c/o Anglia Co-operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft, NR32 1NY.
