A JOINT appeal by Lowestoft police and Derbyshire Constabulary for help in tracing a missing man has had a successful resolution this afternoon.
For missing Derbyshire man Derek Gardner has now returned to his home address in Clowne and is 'safe and well' according to police.
Mr Gardner went missing from his home in Southfields, Clowne on Sunday (October 24), and there were fears that the 68-year-old may have been heading to the Norfolk or Suffolk area at a caravan site.
But a spokesman for Suffolk Police said today that the appeal had been cancelled after Mr Gardner returned home.
