A model railway exhibition will raise funds towards the upkeep of a village hall.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Narrow Gauge Modellers will hold the exhibition on Saturday, October 13 between 10.30am and 4pm at Barsham and Shipmeadow village hall.
A spokesman for the event organisers said: 'The current village hall building dates from the late 1800s and currently has outside toilets at the back of the former playground, now car park. The money raised from the event will be put towards the building of new toilet facilities within the hall and improved disabled access.'
The Narrow Gauge Modellers group usually meet on the first Monday of the month at the hall on Bungay Road, Barsham. There will be around nine layouts and some modellling demonstrations on the day provided by group members. Great Eastern Models from Norwich are attending, with cake and refreshments available.
Admission is £2 for adults with accompanied under 16s free.
