DETECTIVES in Lowestoft have issued a further appeal for witnesses and information after a spate of shed and garage break-ins in the town.
The Journal revealed yesterday that thieves had struck in several raids overnight on Sunday and Monday (June 14/15) and following this, officers have now received further reports of burglaries.
These include sheds in two separate gardens of homes in Kent Road that have been broken into. A girl's pink and blue pedal cycle was stolen from one and a tent and a cycle light from the other.
The tent was later found at the scene of another break-in in the same road.
There was also an attempted break-in at a garage in Kent Road between 9pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday.
Information about the break-ins should be directed to Lowestoft police on 01986 835300.
