A HOTLY fought final heat of the Sunrise Talent Contest saw unprecedented scenes last Sunday> as judges put six talented performers through to next month's grand final.
There were just four final places up for grabs when 12 acts went head-to-head at the Hotel Victoria, in Lowestoft, but the high quality of the performances meant that judges were unable to split Hollie Hacking, Rob Houchen, Charlotte Bullen, Katy Jones, Heidi Fletcher and Anna Ross.
Organiser Gwen Wicks said: 'The standard of the performers was excellent and we felt that all six deserved their place in the grand final.'
The six singers will be joined in the final by singers Leon Lambert, Cathryn Daws, Lily Jane and Beccles band One Member Short, who all won the November heat, together with Alfie and Connor Bailey, Gold Rush, Vicki Drake and Al Angelo Barnal, who all triumphed in the December heat.
