Motorcyclist named after fatal crash

THE 27-year-old man who died in a road traffic collision near Lowestoft on Tuesday morning has been named as Peter Fowell.

Mr Fowell, from Oulton Street, Oulton, died after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Transit pick-up in Cooke Road, Gisleham at around 7.

THE 27-year-old man who died in a road traffic collision near Lowestoft on Tuesday morning has been named as Peter Fowell.

Mr Fowell, from Oulton Street, Oulton, died after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Transit pick-up in Cooke Road, Gisleham at around 7.30am yesterday.

A 25-year-old man who was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving in connection with the crash has now been bailed to return to Ipswich police station on November 30.

Police are renewing appeals for anyone who saw the incident, who has not yet spoken to officers, to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at police headquarters on 01473 613500.
