WAVENEY MP Bob Blizzard has produced a special Lowestoft Christmas card for people to buy and send out this year.

The card shows a snow-covered sea front at South Beach and all profits from the sale of the cards is being donated to the Save Our Seagull theatre fund.

“For many years I've tried to buy a Christmas card with a Lowestoft scene to send to people in other parts of the country and the world, but it just didn't exist. So this year I decided to produce one myself - a Lowestoft Christmas card that Lowestoft people can send to their friends and family,” he said.

With the help of the Ferini Gallery Mr Blizzard has been able to produce a Christmas card and envelope for sale at 45p per card, or 10 for £4.

The cards are available now from his constituency office, at 27 Milton Road East - people can call in or send their order and money to the office.

Cards are also available from the Ferini Gallery, in All Saints Road, Pakefield, and other outlets, and there will be a stall run by local students at the Britten Centre on Wednesday, from 9.30am to 2pm, as part of Enterprise Week.

Cards can also be ordered by telephoning the constituency office on 01502 514913 or email bellhamj@parliament.uk

All profits from the sale of the cards will go to the Save Our Seagull fund.
