THE funeral service took place at the Salvation Army Hall, Lowestoft, followed by the committal at Gorleston Crematorium, on September 7, for Alfred Ernest Bullard, of Lowestoft, who died on August 22, aged 77.

Envoy Doug Beattie officiated.

Mourners were: Margaret Bullard (wife), Adrian and Jean Bullard (son and daughter-in-law), Andrew Bullard (son), Christine Whelan (daughter) and partner, Rachel, Matthew, Steven. Louise, Megan, Kevin and Connor (grandchildren), Ivan and Lettie Bullard, Iris and Caroline Lindsay.

Other family and friends from the Salvation Army also attended too numerous to mention.

Unable to attend were Mrs Lilly Guttridge (sister).

Mrs Margaret Bullard and family wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, the beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Donations for The British Heart Foundation are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd., 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.
