THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday, August 8 for Arthur James Green who died on July 14 aged 85. The service was conducted by Mr Michael Imison.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday, August 8 for Arthur James Green who died on July 14 aged 85. The service was conducted by Mr Michael Imison.

Family mourners were, Mrs N Green (wife), Mr Terence Green (son), Mr Martin Green (grandson), Mr and Mrs J Wright, Mr and Mrs A Wright, John, Wendy, Ella and Jeddie Lewis, Mr and Mrs E Couzins, Mr and Mrs G Howlett, Mr and Mrs B Stanford, Beryl and Hazel, Rob, Chris and Stephen.

Mike Woodrow, Denny Cleveland and other friends also attended.

The family of Arthur wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their cards and messages of sympathy received in their sad loss. Thanks also for the donations received for the Suffolk MacMillan Nurses and RAF which are still being accepted by Arthur Jary and Sons Ltd, 1 Golden Court, Bridge Road, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 3LU, 01502 538820. Donation cheques should be made payable to Arthur Jary and Sons Donations Account please. Special thanks to Dot and Richard and all their helpers from Church Green, staff at Lound Hall Nursing Home, with special thanks to Gabby and the Gertrude Barlow Ward at Lowestoft Hospital.
