THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on Thursday, May 15, for Antony John Williams (Tony), of Lowestoft, who died on April 30, aged 49.

Mr John Hemsley officiated.

Mourners were, Jenny Williams (wife), Rita Williams (mother), John Williams and Louise Dann (son and partner), Michael and Leanne Williams (son and daughter-in-law), Laura Williams and Stephen Carlisle (daughter and partner), Carly Williams and Ashley Cleveland (daughter and partner), Matthew and Jonathan Pipe (stepsons), David and Valerie Williams (brother and sister-in-law), Keith and Marie Williams (brother and sister-in-law), Peter and Roberta Williams (brother and sister-in-law), Janet and Brian Meades (sister and brother-in-law), Jenny George (sister), Margaret and Barry Winney (sister and brother-in-law), Jackie Oldman (sister), Pat Necci, Dennis and Maggie Hart, Debra Hart, Dale and Adam Pitcher, Mike Hardy and many other relatives, friends and work colleagues also attended, too many to mention by name.

Floral tributes were: Tony, we never had time to say goodbye and I don't think I will ever understand why you had to go. I miss you so much but I know you will always be with me in my heart. I love you sweetheart, always will, Jen. Treasured memories of my precious son Tony, forever in my thoughts, till we meet again, love from Mum. When family chains are broken life doesn't seem the same, but as God calls us one by one we'll link the chain again, love always from Jonathan and Louise. Silent thoughts, tears unseen, wishing your absence was only a dream, an empty space no-one can fill, we miss you Dad and we always will, love you always from Micky, Leanne and Alana. To where you rest I wander, its there I feel so near, to place the flowers around you and whisper I am here, no one knows the heartache when I turn to walk away, I wish with all my heart that you were here today, love you always Lou and Stephen. A heart of gold stopped beating, two hard working hands now rest, God broke my heart to prove to me that he only takes the best, I will never stop thinking about you, I love you so much forever, all our love Carly and Ash. Tony, you will be greatly missed by everyone, things will never be the same again, with love Matty and Jonny. To Grandad, I miss you, love Alana. Up in the sky there shines a star, it is our dear Little Grandad so near yet so far, goodnight God bless, love from Joshua and Conner. Jesus in Heaven hear my prayer, watch over my Grandad with your loving care, stay close beside him don't leave him alone, love him as I did while he was at home, love and kisses from Hannah.
