THE funeral took place at Gorleston Crematorium, of Brian Clifford Carter, of Barnby, who died at Beccles War Memorial Hospital, on April 14, aged 77.

Minister Mr Ed Ellis officiated.

THE funeral took place at Gorleston Crematorium, of Brian Clifford Carter, of Barnby, who died at Beccles War Memorial Hospital, on April 14, aged 77.

Immediate family mourners were, Joyce Carter, Tony Carter, Janet Berry, Teresa Howard, Keith Howard, Jack Howard, Alexander Nicholls, William Carter, Helen Carter, Beryl Beevor, Geoffrey Beevor, Joan Wones, Ernest Wones.

Among others present were: Mr and Mrs M Watson (also representing Mrs Carter), Mr L Moller (Worlingham Farms), Mr M D Nicholls, Mr and Mrs P Rand, Mrs B Howard, Mrs J Bagley, Mrs A Pentney, Mrs J Barley, Mr and Mrs K Aldis, Mr J Warren, Mr M Wones, Mrs D Wones, Mr and Mrs K Balls, Mr G Wones, Mr and Mrs B Garrod, Mr and Mrs A Reid, Miss M Milton, Mr R Warne, Mr and Mrs D Rackham (Mrs K Watkins), Mr R Daines, Mr A Daines, Mr T Aldis.

Joyce and family wish to thank Dr Berry and all the nurses for their excellent care and support at the Beccles Hospital and a special thank you for the care Brian received at home by the district nurses. Thanks also for all the kind expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers and for donations to Friends of Beccles Hospital. Thanks to Harvey Bros of Kirby Cane for the excellent funeral arrangements. Please will all accept this as the only but most sincere acknowledgment.
