THE funeral service took place at St Mark's Church, on Tuesday, June 9, followed by cremation at Gorleston Crematorium, for Mr Brian Kevill Chilvers, of Lowestoft, who died peacefully at home with his family at his side on May 28, aged 70.

THE funeral service took place at St Mark's Church, on Tuesday, June 9, followed by cremation at Gorleston Crematorium, for Mr Brian Kevill Chilvers, of Lowestoft, who died peacefully at home with his family at his side on May 28, aged 70.

The Rev Ian Bentley officiated, with tributes from Paul and Kevill Chilvers.

The immediate family mourners were: Mrs G Chilvers, Mr and Mrs P Chilvers, Mr and Mrs C Chilvers, Mr and Mrs R Chilvers, Mr and Mrs K Chilvers, Mr M Chilvers, Mr C Chilvers, Mr L Chilvers, Miss B Ingles, Mr A Ingles, Miss B Chilvers, Mr J Chilvers, Mr and Mrs D Chilvers. Over 250 other mourners attended including Fishing and Bowls Friends, ex work colleagues and numerous other friends and neighbours.

Unavoidably absent were: Lydia and George Chilvers, Mr and Mrs Roy Chilvers and Mr and Mrs B Latchford (Molly).

Greta and the family of the late Mr Chilvers wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Donations for RNLI Lowestoft Lifeboat or JPUH NHS Foundation Trust (Sandra Chapman Unit) are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.

The family wish to give special thanks to: Rev Ian Bentley who conducted the service and for his support throughout. Dr Moorthie for her valued care and all of the nurses and staff of the Sandra Chapman Unit as well as all of the care in the community nurses for all their support.
