THE funeral service took place at St Margaret's Church on Friday, January 18, for Barry Measures who fell asleep peacefully at Lowestoft Hospital on December 28, aged 65.

THE funeral service took place at St Margaret's Church on Friday, January 18, for Barry Measures who fell asleep peacefully at Lowestoft Hospital on December 28, aged 65.

A very much loved husband, dad, granddad, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend too many. The service was then proceeded by committal at Gorleston Crematorium. Both services were conducted by Captain Paul McDonough.

Mourners were, Irene Measures (wife), Yvonne and Colin Mason (daughter and son-in-law), Amanda and Ian Skinner (daughter and son-in-law), Ryan and Claire Mason, Saffron and Rafael Skinner (grandchildren), Patricia and Ali Flute, Michaelia and Lee Galler (sisters-in-law) Pauline Bekbock (sister) Paul Wood (brother), Carol and Wayman Arundel (nephew), Elise and Marcus Flute (nephew), Samantha Flute (niece), Leon Galler (nephew), Edith and Emile Mirgaux, Roger and Gulshun Lotey, Phillis Athorn, Jo and John Skinner, Ginge Atkinson, Maureen and Pete Regan, Alan Gill, Margaret and Eddie Brighty, Landie and Colin Craig, Jackie and Ian Lace, Barry Turrell, Stanley Mitchell, John Deacon, Sid Pretty, Linda and Mac McNovey, Jill and Terry Davey. John Raven, Peter Barnard, Basher, Tony Drew, Terry and Sylvia Boor, Pauline and Cyril Mitchell, Jean and Malcolm Hunt, Gloria Tromlow, Jane Peek, Peggy Disney, Anne Hutchinson, Jane Peck, Pauline and Jack Blyth, Maureen and John Fryers, Christine and Roy, Sarah and Fred Sharman, Kay and Mick Mitchell, Sybil, Kathy and Brian Charge, Carol and Alan Abel and B Freeman.

Unable to attend were: Mr Ray Wood (dad), Mr David Athorn (Aky), Mrs Patricia Pittam, Pat and Roy Griffiths, Jackie and Pete Plummer, Sue and Robert Gardecki, Tony and Harold, Roy Holmes, Flipper and Vines Bray, Mr Jos-De-Ridder. Apologies to anyone who attended and have not been mentioned.

Special thanks to Paul McDonough for conducting both services, Anglia Co-Operative Funerals for all the arrangements and special thanks to all the nursing staff especially all at Lowestoft Hospital for looking after Barry brilliantly.

Irene, Yvonne and Amanda would like to thanks everyone for the kind expressions of sympathy, the beautiful floral tributes, the cards and telephone calls.
