THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on June 18 for Derrick Albert Dye of Pakefield who died on June 9, aged 69.

Canon Brian Wisken officiated.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on June 18 for Derrick Albert Dye of Pakefield who died on June 9, aged 69.

Mourners were, Loving wife Daphne Dye, Mr and Mrs Gordon Dye, Mr and Mrs Robert Brooks, Mr and Mrs Ashley Hart, Mr and Mrs Colin Prior, Mr and Mrs Andy Davis, Mrs Pat Brooks, Mrs Kath Cox, Mrs Cynthia Broomfield, Mr Jason Dye, Miss Victoria Coleman, Mr Robert Coleman, close family members, colleagues ECW, friends and neighbours too numerous to mention.

There was only one floral tribute from wife Daphne and single roses from the close family.

The family of Mr Derrick Dye wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy and donations received. Donations for JPUH NHS Foundation Trust (Lowestoft Hospital) are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0RU. Special thanks to the nurses on Gertrude Barwood Ward at Lowestoft Hospital, Dr Martin Vallis and to Cannon Brian Wisken for a wonderful service.
