THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday, December 21 for Mr David John Roach of Lowestoft who died on December 10 aged 87.

Mourners were: Diane and Leon Harvey, Robert and Sally Roach, Janet and Peter Hood, Stephen and Carol Roach, Nick and Adele Harvey, Joanne and Richard Birtwistle, Daniel Roach, Jonathan Hood, James Hood, Bob and Liz Powell, Gill Constance (also representing the Catchpole family), Rodger and Vicky Kennedy, June Etherden, Andrew Julings, Barbara Nourse, Roger Bushell (representing Norwich Union).

Flower tributes were: In loving memory of dear Dad, you just slipped away to be with mum, we'll miss you, all our love, Diane and Leon; Treasured memories of a wonderful Dad, thank you for everything, we will all miss you, fondest love from Robert, Sally, Daniel, Martin, Nell and Adam; In loving memory of Dad, thank you for being such a wonderful Dad, always in our hearts, love Janet and Peter; In loving memory of dearest Dad, always there, lots of love and safe journey from Stephen and Carol; Happy memories of dear granddad, always remembered, now at peace with Nanny Ethel, love always, Nick and Adele, Joe and Richard; Always in our hearts dear Grandad, thanks for the happy memories, you will be greatly missed, love Jonathan and James; Happy memories of Great-granddad Dave, we hope you have a nice Christmas in heaven with Nanny Ethel, miss you, love Callum and Flynn, Sam and Sian; With fond memories of Mr Roach from Vicky and Roger; Rest in peace dear David, treasured memories, Gwen.

Funeral arrangements were by R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0RU.

The family of Mr David John Roach wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy and beautiful floral tributes received.
