Family mourners were: wife Doreen, son Robin and daughter-in-law Lynn, daughter Angela and son-in-law Anthony, grandchildren Paul, Annelise, Alysha and Anatasia, brother Dougy and sister-in-law Doris.

Other family mourners included: Carol and Chris Prue, Stephen and Karen Knights, David and Ali Knights, Pearl and Ken Fox, Eric and Sandra Hammond, Tom and Denise Hammond, Sheila and David Layton, Joyce Killett, Pam and Kevin Muirhead, Pauline and Brian Adams.

Unavoidably absent were: son Julian and family in Australia, grandson Anthony and Ray and Faith Hammond.

On arrival a wonderful guard of honour was formed by serving and retired ambulance personnel. The service was richly attended by his many friends too numerous to mention.

Doreen and family would like to thank Rev Soanes for the beautiful service he conducted. Special thanks go to Alan Holt for his poetry reading. Thanks also go to doctors and staff at Andaman Surgery for all their care and kindness shown to Rick during his illness.

Thank you to all relatives and friends for their floral tributes and kind expressions of sympathy, also their donations towards Palliative Care East, which are still being received by Co-op Funerals, Pakefield.

Will all please accept this as the only, but most sincere, acknowledgment.
