THE funeral took place at Gorleston Crematorium on February 15th for George Ivan Burwood of Lowestoft who died on January 15t at the James Paget University Hospital, aged 80.

THE funeral took place at Gorleston Crematorium on February 15th for George Ivan Burwood of Lowestoft who died on January 15t at the James Paget University Hospital, aged 80.

Gerda Buckley officiated.

Mourners were: Phyl Burwood (Wife), Susan and Rick Rozemont (Daughter and Son-in-Law), Matt, Chris and Glen Rozemont (Grandsons), Mr and Mrs Jack Burwood (Brother), Mrs K Burwood, Mr and Mrs A Bethell, Mr and Mrs John Burwood, Mr and Mrs E Burwood, Mr G Burwood, Mrs J Cutts, Mrs C Wafer, Mr Ray Turrell (Friend), Mr Ron Turrell, Mr J Turrell, Mr J Crickmore, Mr B Ratcliffe, Mr J Cone and Mr C Swan and Mr A Bond (Workmates ECW). Unavoidably absent was Mr A Burwood.

The family of the late George Burwood wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and donations for the Stroke Association which are still being accepted by Anglia Co-Operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1NY. Thanks to Gerda for her words of comfort and special thanks to our eldest grandson Matt for his spoken tribute to his granddad. Also thanking Anglia Co-Operative Funerals for all their help in making the arrangements.
