THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Tuesday May 20th for Gilbert “Gilly” Thomas Flegg of Winston Avenue, Oulton Broad, who died on May 6, aged 72.

Tributes were: In loving memory of my dear husband, thank you for 54 wonderful years, two wonderful sons and two wonderful grandchildren. My darling my love for you will never end, always yours Pam.

In loving memory of a dear grandad. Dearest grandad, words cannot describe the vast feeling of emptiness I have missing you. Everywhere I turn to something always reminds me of you, although you are gone memories do not fade, I have many fond memories, such loving memories. It's still quite hard to believe that you are truly gone. You have been taken away from us but it's for the good. God's right hand “handyman”. You are dearly missed and I miss you dearly. You are close in my heart and not a day goes by when I am not thinking of you. I love you so much Danielle.

In loving memory of a dear grandad. Dear grandad, I am missing you so much, even though you are gone the beautiful memories you left behind are still with me. I will miss the times going in your shed and watching you make things and also coming to fix the things I'd broken. Keep smiling and take care

I really miss you dad, so many memories and good times we have had together. All the love and help you have given me over the years. My garage seems so empty without you here, but in my heart you will be here or at a racetrack with me. You will always be my number one spanner man. Love and miss you dad, Derek.

Dearest Dad, we miss you, rest in peace, thank you for your love and commitment to our family and our children. Thank you for all you've done, you have taught me well over the years and I will keep my promise to you. Thank you for all your knowledge and guidance that we have shared and helped us in our lives.
