THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday, September 11 for Gerald William Short of Walmer Road, Lowestoft who died on August 25, aged 74.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday, September 11 for Gerald William Short of Walmer Road, Lowestoft who died on August 25, aged 74.

The Rev Joan Oddy officiated.

Mourners were: Meryl Short, Peter Short, Thelma Bruce, Michael Wade, Glynis Wade, Sharon Adnams, Andrew Bruce, Philip Crewe, Christopher Wade and Sharon, Rachel and Craig Hughes, Laura Wade, Terry and Coral Horton, Ronnie and Pat Summons, Gerald and Sally Alderton, Roy Edmunds, Andy Coates, Colin Barber, Josie and John Parnell, Esther Thurston, Representatives of Waveney and District Woodturners' Club, Representatives of EATS, Representatives of Dell School and many other friends that attended.

Floral Tributes: With love from Meryl, forever in my heart, night, night see you in the morning. In loving memory of Dad. I will remember you always, your support, your help, with love Peter. In loving memory of a dear Brother. For my beloved brother Gerald with whom I shared so many happy memories, Love Thelma. Always in our thoughts from Michael and Glynis.
