THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on Wednesday, May 28, for George William Wilson, of Broadside, Commodore Road, Oulton Broad, who died on May 13, aged 83.

Captain Nigel Byrne officiated.

Mourners were, Paul Wilson, Alan and Margaret Tharratt, Pauline and Dennis Foster, Mark Tharratt and Carolyn Mutton, Melvyn and Tina Tharratt, Alan and Carmen Tharratt, Kim Nicholson and Jason Goodwin, Tracey Amis, Pat and Peter Amis, Doreen Stevens, Kathleen Easey, Sheila Bogg (also representing Wednesday Warriors), Nick Jack, Fred Hampton, R O Lambert (REA), S C Cook (REA) Doreen Sanderson, Colin Sanderson, Richard Mullins, Jean Hall.

Floral tributes were: In loving memory of dear George, God bless, rest in peace, I will treasure the memories forever, stepson Alan and Margaret. You left us precious memories that sometimes makes us cry, the love you locked in our hearts no millionaire can buy, love from stepdaughter Pauline and Dennis. To granddad, rest in peace, all our love Ally and Carmen. In loving memory great granddad, all our love, Lakitia and Ebany. In loving memory dear granddad, rest in peace, all our love Mark, Cally and family. In fondest memory, rest in peace, love Kim and Jason. Happy memories. rest in peace, George reunited with Ethel, Pat Riches. In loving memory, with regards from Steve, Hazel, Colin and Rachel. Cherished memories of a dear friend George, from all your friends and helpers at Wednesday Warriors. In loving memory, to George in remembrance Pat, Peter, Tracey, Mandy and David.

The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and beautiful floral tributes received. Special thanks to staff and doctors Ward 14, James Paget Hospital, Captain Nigel Bryne for his comforting service and the standard bearers. Will all please accept this as the only but most sincere acknowledgment.
