THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Friday, August 14, for Harry Ernest Garner (Toby), of Blundeston, who died at Lowestoft Hospital, on July 27, aged 83.

The Rev Val Burgess officiated.

Mourners were: Tony Garner (son), Jannette Garner (daughter-in-law), Mr and Mrs Morgon, Samantha and James, James Garner, Steve Garner, Adam Garner, Mrs Ann Llewellyn (daughter), Rob, Marc, Shaun and Ellie, Mrs Betty Catchpole (partner), Brian and Linda Hodgson, Keith and Tina Catchpole, Mrs Reta Gibbs, Maria, Andrea and Emma Hodgson, Colleen Riley, Jane and Carl, Bob Dalton and Jan Penny, Ken and Chris Ward, Mrs Lian Shepherd, John (also representing HMP Blundeston), Graham West, Arnold Murphy, Gerald and Jean, Sid Pretty, Edna and Victor Jones, Mr T Harbord, Mrs Gorew (Cherry Harbord), B Laflin, Mr Francis Boyce (Scamper), Brian and Margaret Howard, Sam Perks, Doreen and Brian Smith, Sarah and Tony Hogg, Gillian Grice (Mrs M Hughes), C Fowler, D Harper, Grace Edwards, Jason and Joanne Browne, Neil and Elizabeth Barnes, June and Den Washington, Susan and Jane (Betty, Brian and Linda), Nigel Sword, Chris Hitcham, Ann Youngs, Buster Farrow, Peter Bruce, Jack Munnings, Jean Pattison, Mary Mayo, Sarah Chapman and E Espindola. Unable to attend was Chris Chapman.

The family would like to pass on their special thanks for the floral tributes, kind words of sympathy and donations for The Stroke Association which are still being collected by Anglia Co-Operative Funerals, Police Station Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1NY.
