THE funeral service took place at St Peter's Church, Carlton Colville, and was followed by committal at Gorleston Crematorium, on April 8, for Mr Henry William James Baxter (Jim), of Lowestoft, who died on March 29, aged 93.

The Rev Jeremy Bishop officiated and Rev Bill Bazeley gave a tribute.
Mourners were: Nelly Baxter (wife), Derrick Baxter (brother), Peggy Baxter (sister-in-law), Alan Jones (cousin), Mr and Mrs Peter Thornton (niece), Mr and Mrs John Perry (nephew), Mr and Mrs Jack Jones, Mr and Mrs Roland Worrall, Anne Bishop, representatives of Orient Lodge, friends from St Peter's Church and many other friends attended, too many to mention by name.
The family of the late Mr. Baxter wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes received and donations to the East Anglian Air Ambulance (c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0RU). Special thanks to all the doctors and staff at Andaman Surgery for their help at all times, Rev Jeremy Bishop and Rev Bill Bazeley for their spiritual support over the years and R Rivett Ltd, for the funeral arrangements.
