THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Tuesday, April 8 for Joseph Arthur Cluer of Lowestoft, who died on March 27, aged 77.

Father David Girling officiated.

Mourners were, Janice Cluer, Mrs Donna and Mr Ian Andrews (Joe's daughter), Guy, Sharon, Tom and Harry Jackson, Mrs Sara Salmon (also representing Peter and Ellie), Robert Butcher (Ann, Andrew and Judith), Hugh Butcher, Linda Nick and Clare, Mrs and Mr Benny and Jim Hoiton, from Cluer's Car Group were: Mr Arthur Rogers, David and Cathy Savage, Jo-Anne and George Wright, Michael Powley and Allan Coker. Marilyn, Joy and Allan Chapman, Dan Cook president of Waveney Probus accompanied with many other members, Louis Claydon and many other members of G Y Golf Club, Geoff Northgraves and other colleagues from the motor trade, Mr Roger Folkes, Mrs J Youngs and Mrs Lynn Willert, friends and neighbours from Grove Road Neighbourhood Watch, Rod Hallard and Roger Collis - G Y Lions, many other friends and neighbours whose presence we gratefully acknowledged.

The family of the late Mr Joseph Arthur Cluer wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, the beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Donations for Waveney Hospice Care are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.

Special thanks to: Wonderful team from Rosedale Surgery, Marie Curie Hospice at Home, Goldburough and McMillan Nurses, Hugh and Sharon who helped nurse Joe at home and other family who supported me Marilyn Joy who gave me a bed in Norwich whilst Joe was in Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Gerry Sykes who organised support from Waveney Probus, John Hughes and R Rivett Ltd. Funeral Directors.

Will all please accept this as the only but most grateful acknowledgment.
