THE funeral service took place at St Edmunds Church, Kessingland, on Wednesday, February 11, followed by burial in the churchyard for Jack Burt, who died on January 31, aged 88.
THE funeral service took place at St Edmunds Church, Kessingland, on Wednesday, February 11, followed by burial in the churchyard for Jack Burt, who died on January 31, aged 88.
The Rev Derek Cowie officiated.
Mourners were, Linda and David Mallon (daughter and son-in-law), Mr and Mrs Neville Burt (brother and sister in law), Owen Mallon (grandson), Sophie Mallon (grand-daughter)), Sarah and Ruby MacDonald (grand-daughter and great grand-daughter), Mrs Janet Smith (niece), Mr Peter Curtis (nephew), Mr Graham Brown (nephew), Mr Gary Burt (nephew). Deborah Smith, S Soloman, Anne, Georgina and Philippa Luckett, Enid Weatherley.
Unable to attend: Mr Andrew Burt (nephew), Mrs Peggy Shoaff (sister), Mr M MacDonald and Miss Lily Belle MacDonald (grandson in law and great grand-daughter).
The family wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations for RNLI (Lowestoft) which are still being accepted c/o Critoph and Crowe 49-55 Lorne Park Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RB. Special thanks to The Rev Derek Cowie.
