THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on April 15, of James Frederick Bert Smith, of Tunstall Drive, Oulton Broad, who died at home on April 2, aged 86.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on April 15, of James Frederick Bert Smith, of Tunstall Drive, Oulton Broad, who died at home on April 2, aged 86. The Rev Geoff Wilson officiated.

Mourners were, Rita and Michael (daughter), Sylvia and Tony (daughter and son-in-law), Adrian and Trish, Michelle and Richard (grandchildren), Shawnie (great-grandaughter), Arthur and Megan (brother), Roy and Brenda (brother), Sue and Ashley, Geoff and Denise, Lesley and Denise, Paul, Betty, Mel and Ken, Terry and Elaine, Clare, Gill Sansom, Owen and Hazel, Barbara, Sandra and Kenny, Maurice Armes, Mrs M Foster, Mr Williams, Valerie and David Banham.

The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and beautiful floral tributes received. Sincere thanks to Rev Geoff Wilson for a comforting service. Special thanks to Tony, Mairi, Jane and the team at Sansoms Florist, also to John Richardson of Richardsons Printers for the outstanding “Order of Service” sheets and Graeme, June and the team at Anglia Co-Operative Funerals. Will all please accept this as the only but most sincere acknowledgment.
