THE funeral service took place at London Road Baptist Church followed by the burial in Kirkley Cemetery on June 26 for Joseph George Scott of Lowestoft who died on June 15, aged 88.

THE funeral service took place at London Road Baptist Church followed by the burial in Kirkley Cemetery on June 26 for Joseph George Scott of Lowestoft who died on June 15, aged 88.

Reverend David Minton officiated.

Mourners were: Mr and Mrs K Suart, Mr and Mrs D Scott, Mr and Mrs M Nyul, Mr and Mrs S Scott, Mr and Mrs P Scott and children (also representing Joshua, Megan and Scott), Mr and Mrs N Palmer, Laura and Toby Palmer, Mr and Mrs M Suart, Miss J Suart and Mr N Miller, Miss S Nyul, Miss R Nyul, Mr and Mrs I Abbott, Mr F Scott, Mrs J Wilson, Mrs C Carter, Mrs Y Eade, Mr and Mrs F Helsden, Mr B Button, Mr D Gwilliam, Mr K Andrews, J Briggs, Mrs M Richards, Mr and Mrs B Ladd, P Grimmer, Mrs R Cullum, Mr L Southwick.

The family of the late Mr Scott wish to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Donations made payable to R Rivett Ltd for a tree in memory of Joe are still being accepted c/o R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.

Special thanks to all the staff on Ward 3 at James Paget Hospital. Lynne, Steve and all his carers from Anglian Home Care. Rev David Minton. Mr D Gwilliam for his moving tribute to Joe.
