THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on October 29 for John Gunton of York Road, Lowestoft who died on October 16, aged 75.

Mourners were: Rose Gunton (wife), Gary and Paul (sons), Kim and Paula (daughter-in-laws), Kevin and Melanie and Thomas and Benjamin (grandchildren), Eillen Postal (sister), Winifred Duncan (sister-in-law), Arthur New (brother-in-law), Victor and Iris New (brother-in-law and wife), Mrs L Pitcher (sister-in-law), Ivy Osborne (sister-in-law), Pamela Vincent (also representing Len and David Butcher), Mr Michael and Mrs Patricia Duncan, Pauline Lambert, Raymond and Anna Osborne, Diane Pitcher, Jennifer Shelly, Pat King, Linda and Peter Parker, Teresa Walker, Mr R Butcher (Peggy Butcher and Peter Butcher), Neville and Jenny, Marjorie and Baden Risby, Malcolm Risby, David and Angela Read, Tracey Read, Darren Read, Claire Read, Paul and Doreen Reeve, Karen and Peggy Freeman, Peggy and David Fox, Taffy York, Ray and Gail (Glover family), Kathy and Tony Crouchen, James Crouchen, Andrew Crouchen, Mrs Judith Curtis, Ken Pressley, Chris Dack and John Dyball, Jeff and Yvonne Forder, Mr E H Barrett and John Parfrement.
