THE funeral service took place at St Edmunds Church, Kessingland on May 6 followed by the committal at Gorleston Crematorium for James Israel Woodgate of Kessingland who died on April 24 aged 90.

THE funeral service took place at St Edmunds Church, Kessingland on May 6 followed by the committal at Gorleston Crematorium for James Israel Woodgate of Kessingland who died on April 24 aged 90.

The Rev Derek Cowie officiated.

Mourners were, Alan (son), Sean (grandson), Kirsten, John (granddaughter and partner), Kieron, Lewis, Charlotte, (great grandchildren), Berni, and Simon (granddaughter and partner), Luke (great grandson), Claire and Daryl (granddaughter and partner), Perry, Jemima and Poppy (great grandchildren), Gemma and Richie (granddaughter and partner), Wilf and Margaret (brother-in-law and partner), Michael and Lynne, Roger and Robert (nephews), Vicky and Kai.

Unable to attend were: Angela and family (niece) USA.

Many other relatives and friends also attended the service too many to mention by name.

The family wishes to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expression of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and donations being accepted for Cancer Research UK c/o Critoph and Crowe, 49-55 Lorne Park Road, Lowestoft.
