THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on Thursday, April 17, for Joseph Wilfred Johnson, of Pakefield (formerly of Springfield Gardens), who died at home on April 5, aged 70.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium, on Thursday, April 17, for Joseph Wilfred Johnson, of Pakefield (formerly of Springfield Gardens), who died at home on April 5, aged 70.

Canon Brian Wisken officiated.

Mourners were: Marion (wife), Mark and Denise (son and daughter-in-law), Robert (son), Alison and Mike (daughter and son-in-law), Deborah and Keith (daughter and son-in-law), Elizabeth and Fiona (grandchildren) and Stuart, Anthony and John (nephew and grand-nephew), Gareth and Sarah (nephew and wife), Paul and Gail (brother-in-law and wife), Terry and Lillian (brother-in-law and wife), John and Rose (brother-in-law and wife), Sarah Jane Arrowsmith (also representing the Arrowsmith family), Esther and David Jackson, Cyril Websdale, Colin and Pam Websdale, Julie Allin, Pamela Shreeve, Dean Lee, and Shirley and Maurice Etheridge.

Funeral arrangements were by R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0RU.

The family of Mr Joseph Johnson wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their many kind expressions of sympathy and for the beautiful floral tributes received. Special thanks to the paramedics and WPC Plummer for the kind and professional way they handled a very traumatic time, Canon Brian Wisken for a lovely service and Rivett's funeral directors.
