THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Tuesday, February 16 for Jack William Leslie Cooper who died at Lowestoft Hospital on January 28, aged 85.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on Tuesday, February 16 for Jack William Leslie Cooper who died at Lowestoft Hospital on January 28, aged 85.

The Rev Robert Soanes officiated.

Family mourners were: Gladys Cooper (wife), David and Susan Cooper (son and daughter-in-law), Kevin and Carol Cooper (son and daughter-in-law), Sophie and Mark (granddaughter and partner), Oliver (grandson), Leslie Cooper (brother), Ken, Keith and Monica Farman, Heather Capps, Glenda Farr, Geoffrey Cooper, John and Pam Oldman, Iris, Stella and Joyce.

Other mourners were: David and Doreen Hardwick, Ann Hardwick, Stuart and Sam Bartram, Lionel and Gill Levinson, Tim Smith, Colin, Jeanette, Amanda and Daniel, Sue and Troy Freeman, Pat Brinded, Peter and Pat Jermy, Tony and Paulette Smith, Gary and Caroline Brinded, Brian and Shelagh Hunter, David Clarke, Linda Brown, Pat and Daphne Skelly, Jamie and Clare Gray, Sally Cook, Brian Hughes, Richard Furness, Gladys Harboard, Jean Smith, Donna, Aaron and Jessica, Paul and Doreen, Georgie, JoJo and Maurice, Barbara, Owen and Hazel, Mr. and Mrs. Allison. Many other ex colleagues from Lothingland Hospital, friends from the Happy Circle and Oulton Community Centre and many other friends too numerous to mention.

The family of the late Jack Cooper would like to thank all relatives and friends for their many cards and expressions of sympathy, floral tributes and donations for Cancer Research U.K. which are still being taken by Arthur Jary & Sons (Funeral Directors) Oulton Broad.
