The Rev Val Burgess officiated.

Jean and family wish to thank everyone who attended, especially ones that had travelled many miles. They would also like to thank Rev Val Burgess for a beautiful service also, thanks go the Lions' bearers, which was greatly appreciated. The family would also like to thank all relatives and friends for their many kind expressions of sympathy, the beautiful floral tributes and donations received. Special thanks to James White, Blyford staff, Ward 1 staff at JPUH and Mr Mahadevan (consultant), Dr Aylward and staff at Bridge Road Surgery, and Heather Matthews (oxygen consultant at JPUH). Very special thanks go to Veronica and John Kent and Paul Maye, all of whom gave their time relentlessly to comfort the family.
