The funeral service took place at All Saints' Church, Frostenden, on Wednesday April 16, followed by burial in the churchyard for Malcolm James Pipe, who died on March 27, aged 65.

Mourners were: Sheila Pipe, Alex Pipe, Sharon, Matthew and Jonathan, Andrew Pipe, Fiona, Casey and Georgina, Mr and Mrs K Pipe, Mr and Mrs D Pipe, Mr G Pipe, Mr N Pipe, Mr K Plummer (also representing Mr and Mrs C Plummer), Mr and Mrs L Allen, Mrs J Summerton, Mr and Mrs Beaumont, Mr and Mrs C Allen, Mr M Allen and Michelle, Mr and Mrs G Keable, Mr P Keable and Claire, Mr D Keable and Sarah, Miss E Keable and Daniel, Miss L Keable and family, Mr D Pipe and Jo Carpenter, Mrs C Pipe, Mr S Pipe, and countless other friends, work colleagues and members of the community too numerous to mention.

Unable to attend were: Brittany, Miss G Allen, Miss M Allen and family, Mr and Mrs B Pipe (Australia).
