THE funeral service took place at Lowestoft Cemetery Chapel, followed by burial in the cemetery on Tuesday, May 27, for Norman Frederick Douglas Mitchell, of Lowestoft, who died on May 14, aged 91.

THE funeral service took place at Lowestoft Cemetery Chapel, followed by burial in the cemetery on Tuesday, May 27, for Norman Frederick Douglas Mitchell, of Lowestoft, who died on May 14, aged 91.

The Rev Joan Oddy officiated.

Mourners were, Carl Mitchell (son), Lyn Schroder (daughter), Sharyn Carter (daughter), Gary and Angela Mitchell (son and daughter-in-law), Anna-Maria and Gary Poole (daughter and son-in-law), Marie and Adrian Barnard (granddaughter and husband), Liza Beale (granddaughter), Christian Carter (grandson), Craig and Sarah Carter (grandson and wife), Dean and Mel Poole (grandson and wife), Dieter and Lyndsey Poole (grandson and wife), Kelsey Poole (great-granddaughter), Nathan Poole and Marie Moran (grandson and partner), Benjamin Poole (grandson), Mrs Eileen Crowe (sister), Graham Utting, David Carter, Jannice and Kenny Baker, Zoyer and Derek Cole, John Boardley, Paul Langley. Also in attendance were friends, neighbours and representatives from Levington Court.

Funeral arrangements were by R Rivett Ltd, 15 Carlton Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0RU.

The family of the late Mr Norman Mitchell wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and for the beautiful floral tributes received. Many special thanks to the staff at Levington Court for their kindness and care of Norman, also thanks to the Rev Joan Oddy. Will all please accept this as the only but most grateful acknowledgment.
