THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on September 2, for Paul Ernest Biggs, who died peacefully at home on August 26, after a long illness, aged 58.

THE funeral service took place at Gorleston Crematorium on September 2, for Paul Ernest Biggs, who died peacefully at home on August 26, after a long illness, aged 58.

The Rev Brian Wisken officiated.

Principal mourners were: Rosalyn (wife), Andrea (daughter), Paul and Tracey (son and daughter-in-law), Stuart and Carrie (son and daughter-in-law). Many other family, friends, neighbours and former work colleagues also attended, but are too numerous to mention.

Floral tributes were: In loving memory of a dear husband - I held you in my arms the day the angels came, they took away your suffering, they took away your pain, I no longer hear you calling, you no longer call my name, but I know Paul in my heart, we will meet again, your broken hearted wife Roz xx. Treasured memories of a dear dad, no more suffering, no more pain, rest in peace dad, till we meet again, love and miss you always, Andrea xx. In loving memory of a wonderful dad, forever in our memories, all our love, Paul and Tracey xx. In loving memory of a wonderful dad, rest in peace dad, you will be forever in our hearts and minds, no more pain for you any more, we will miss you, all our love, Stuart and Carrie xx. In loving memory of a wonderful grandad, I will always be your little star, love always, your “little smasher” Lily Sky xx.

Special thanks to the Rev Brian Wisken for his comforting service and to Dr Alex Walker and nurses from Rosedale Surgery, Sandra Chapman Ward 17, MacMillan nurses, Marie Curie nurses, especially Sandra who was present on his passing, and good friends Francine and Billy for all their help and support. Will all please accept this as the only, but most sincere acknowledgment.
